7月末に還暦を迎えました。3人の子どもたちが還暦祝いとしてデジカメをくれました。欲しかったカメラが嬉しかったことももちろんですが、3人が相談して祝ってくれたことがもっと嬉しいことでした。ちょっと練習にと写してみました。望遠や接写がレンズを交換せずにできるので、大いに気に入っています。
I became sixty late last July. It means the calendar returned to the one of the year I was born. In celebration of my Kanreki, my sons gave me a gift, a digital camera! The camera pleased me of course, but the fact they did this by mutual agreement pleased me much more. I took some photos for practice. The lens works as both the close-up lens and telephoto lens, so I like it very much.
ちっちゃなちっちゃな朝顔。
畑の草引きをしていたら一人ばえした朝顔ｶﾞ伸びており、鉢に移植して育てました。肥料が効いて立派に成長、花をつけましたが、何と言う小さな花。直径2センチくらいです。
I transplanted the morning-glory I had found in my garden into a pot. It has grown and flowered. But how tiny the flowers are!
仏様の花として育てた名も知らぬ花。
畑には、胡瓜、トマト、ﾋﾟｰﾏﾝ、ｺﾞｰﾔ、なすび、ｽｲｶ、などの他、ﾋﾞｰﾙのつまみにと夏豆までも作りました。なすびと夏豆のほかは予想外の高収穫。相方に喜ばれました。他に名も知らない花が咲いています。
I’m growing cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet peppers, bitter gourds, egg plants, water melons and soy beans (to eat with beer). My wife is glad to have a good harvest in cucumbers, peppers and gourds. I’m growing some flowers too.
濃い紫のノボタン。
小さな苗を買ってきて育てたノボタン。2メートルほどに成長してきれいな花をつけています。
Spider flowers. (Shikon-no-botan). I bought a very young plant of it but it’s now almost meters high.
物干し台を占拠中のサボテンや多肉植物。
真夏の陽射しを受けて、サボテンが元気です。少しずつ殖やして、今や物干し台はサボテンが占拠。ﾍﾞﾝｹｲｿｳ科ﾀﾞﾄﾞﾚｱ属のこの多肉植物は太陽の光を十分に吸って、力強さにあふれています。
A succulent. It’s shining vigorously under the strong sunlight.
ﾍﾞﾝｹｲｿｳ科ｾﾀﾞﾑ属 ｢乙女心」？
あまりにも似た多肉植物が多く、よう名前を特定しない。名前はとにかく、水もやらないのに、光り輝く元気な植物がここに育っている。
